SNY Predicted Big Blue to Finish Last in NFC East
I was watching SNY this morning, and they were asking their panel if the teams would have a better or worse season than 2006. They said that the Giants would do worse and finish last in the NFC East.
Before I get to the Cowboys or the Eagles, why would the Giants not be able to finish ahead of the Redskins? What do they do successfully? They haven’t showed signs of anything successful in a few years. I can see people picking the Cowboys and the Eagles. That’s equivalent to picking it the same as last year. People do that all the time. Why do you think the spreads drop significantly if you pick last year’s Superbowl winner to repeat this year? McNabb has gotten hurt too many times recently so his durability is in doubt. That doesn’t seem to affect the Eagles though. All they have is Westbrook, and he’s legit. The Cowboys will not be a contender until they fire T.O. To succeed as a team, you have to get rid of the ‘me’ guys.
I think that the Giants offense is going to outperform the Giants defense this year because Strahan is coming back. I believe that the defense will be better without Strahan. He will hurt our record at the end of the year for the stunts that he has pulled so far and for the stunts that he will pull during the year. The Giants will not come in last place. I hope that we go into Big D and show up Romo and T.O. just for these idiots talking smack.
