Giants Post Bye Week
The Giants are coming off their Bye week to face the Cowboys in Week 9 (I think you may have heard that somewhere already). The Giants were playing great football for the past 6 weeks heading into the bye with a record of 6-0, choke on that Pats fans. However the Giants have been pretty terrible after a bye week, over the past 10 years they are sporting a 3-7 record. Combine that with the fact that in Coughlin’s years as the head coach, the Giants have sported a 2nd half record of 8-16. Two records that do not inspire confidence.
BUT, doesn’t this year just feel different? Or am I getting lost in the excitement of it all? The Giants did roll through their schedule demolishing teams with a combined record of 11-33. The difference with this years Giants is that they won those games convincingly, except for that ugly game in London. In previous years the boys in blue would have made us sweat out most of those games and prob would have choked a game or two away…not this year, not this team.
Let’s hope the team stays healthy, if they do, I think we may be seeing a few more surprises down the road.
