More Power Rankings!!!
mrjokah - once again, CBSSportsline definitely gives the New York Football Giants more love than ESPN in it’s Power Rankings. You mentioned that the G-MEN slid a spot due to the bye week. That’s the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard of…how does a team get penalized for being off a week when it’s part of every team’s schedule? Will New England drop to second after their bye week? I sure hope so…that’s only fair.
Anyway, CBSSportsline has Big Blue in the 5th spot again which is where they were last week. From 1-5, it is: Pats, Colts, Packers, Cowboys, and Giants. Not only does CBSSportsline have 3 NFC teams in the top 5, but they went out of their way to mention that there are definitely some really good teams in the NFC…perhaps better than many of the last seasons top AFC teams like the Chargers, Broncos, Bengals, and Jaguars. Four out of the top ten teams are NFC teams, and the Lions made the cut…figure that one out. Don’t find it too strange though because the Browns are in the top ten representing the AFC.
