NFC East
This is how it went down in the NFC East in Week 13. The first NFC East game of the week already took place on Thursday. It was between the Packers (10-1) and the Cowboys (10-1) down in Big D. The Cowboys beat the Packers 37-27. The Cowboys improved their record to 11-1, which is the best in Cowboys history through 12 games. The Packers fell to 10-2 which is still pretty damn good so I don’t feel bad for them. The Cowboys now have sole possession of 1st place in the NFC as well as the NFC East. With the victory, Dallas is guaranteed a Playoff Berth. The Packers have sole possession of the NFC North, and they are in 2nd place in the NFC. In the first game of the day, the Bills beat the Redskins by a score of 17-16. The game was not aired in the NY Metro market, but it seems like it was a really close game judging by the final score. The Bills improved their record to 6-6 while the Redskins fell to a 5-7 record. The Bills remain in 2nd place in the AFC East. The The Redskins remain in a 3rd place tie with the Eagles in the NFC East. In the second game of the day, the Seahawks beat the Eagles by a score of 28-24. This game was aired and it was very close. Philly threw an interception on the final drive just like last week. The Seahawks improved to an 8-4 record while the Eagles fell to a 5-7 record. The Seahawks are hot right now, and they won four straight games. The Seahawks are in 1st place in the NFC West. The Eagles are tied for 3rd place tie with the Redskins. In the third game of the day, the Giants beat the Bears by a score of 21-16. The Giants improved to an 8-4 record while the Bears fell to a 5-7 record. The Giants are in 2nd place in the NFC East, and tied for 3rd place in the NFC with the Seahawks and the Bucs. The Bears are in last place in the NFC North. The Giants have a 2 game lead over Philly and Washington with 4 to go. The next two games are against the Eagles and the Redskins. We need to smack’em around a little bit.
