Monday’s Giants Links
The Giants helped make our holidays all the more merrier by clinching the Playoffs yesterday. Things are going to get much tougher now. We have the Pats in Week 17, the Bucs in Wild Card Weekend, and whoever else we have to face in the Playoffs, and just maybe the Pats again in the Superbowl. Merry Christmas Eve to all of you!!!

- This is the fourth time in franchise history the Giants have will play in the postseason in three consecutive years. They accomplished the feat from 1933-35, 1961-63 and again from 1984-86.
- The postseason berth is the 29th in Giants history, tying them with the Dallas Cowboys for the most in NFL history.
- After Minnesota’s loss to Washington Sunday night, the Giants are locked into the No. .5 seed and will visit No. 4 Tampa Bay on Jan. 5 or 6.
Hooray! We’re going to Tampa Bay!!! The last place I want to see the Giants play is in Seattle.

It’s been a group of guys since day one that bought into the total team concept. They fought for each other, they supported one another, and they believed in one another. I think it’s a group of guys that really have believed ‘together we are one’, that we’ve talked about all year long

This team really likes the road. I look forward to it because of the extra incentive when you’re getting booed by the whole stadium because they dislike you. You’re hearing reports that you’re not going to win. To me this is the best team in the NFL with their backs against the wall and when everybody throws everything at them. We don’t need any pats on the butt at all.
