Post Wild Card Weekend
Both NFC games already took place during Wild Card Weekend. Six teams came into the weekend, the Redskins lost, the Bucs lost, and 4 teams made it out of the weekend. Since the Redskins were the only team ranked lower than the Giants, Big Blue will have to play every game on the road. Who’s left?
Dallas Cowboys (1 Seed hosting the 5 Seed)
Green Bay Packers (2 Seed hosting the 3 Seed)
Seattle Seahawks (3 Seed)
New York Giants (5 Seed)
I cannot wait to see the G-MEN take on the Cowboys next week. It’s really difficult to lose to the same team 3 times in a season. It doesn’t happen often so that’s advantage Giants. However, I have said that before when Philly was 2-0 against the Giants heading into the Playoffs and won the Playoff game as well. I need to find out the status of T.O., which hasn’t been released yet. The good news is the Redskins shut down Dallas’ running game to -1 yard in the final game. Even the some starters sat, Jones and Barber played and couldn’t get it going. Romo’s thumb has been bothering him, and he’s looked off the past few weeks. If the Eagles and the Redskins beat the Cowboys then why can’t the Giants?
