Monday’s Giants Links
![]()
Last week, I said that the Giants should beat the Bucs. Even though Big Blue was the underdog against Tampa Bay, I felt like they were the better team. They played tougher teams, including playing in the NFC East versus the NFC South. Now, we are going to play the Cowboys again. Here, I think that we could beat the Cowboys rather than should beat them. The ‘Boys are favored by 7 1/2 over the Giants. The Jints have momentum while the Cowboys have been not so hot. T.O. is injured, and he is considered a “game-time decision”. I know that he’ll play because he came back to play with a broken leg when he was in Philly. But how effective will he be? We’ll have to find out, and Dallas isn’t releasing any information about that, and don’t expect them too. Also, Tony Romo’s thumb may still be a little banged up. This is a big test for Big Blue. I’m really looking forward to the game, and it’s the last one of the weekend. I definitely think the Giants will cover the spread even though they lost by double digits twice during the regular season. Not that it’s my choice, but one Playoff win against the Cowboys makes up for getting swept by Dallas.

Win over Buccaneers means Tom Coughlin will be back with Giants - This is absolutely correct. Tom Coughlin will be able to command a big money, long-term contract with the Giants. It’s well deserved. I’m not the biggest fan of his, but I do like the fact that he was part of the Bill Parcell coaching tree and that was very evident in yesterday’s game. I do believe that they need to get a new Offensive Coordinator.
