ON THE ROAD AGAIN!
What a performance by the New York Giants! back to back to back, great output by a team thought to fail by many in the first round. They have been simply amazing and the determination of each player to step up in the big game has had the greatest impact on us.
It all begins with Eli Manning. Throughout the season, Eli has had his ups and downs. Being put down by commentators and said to not have what it takes to bring Big Blue to the Superbowl, Eli has proven his humbleness pays off at the end of the day. These past few weeks have been outstanding for the Giants and most of it thanks to Eli and his composure during our critical times.
Our offense has been very effective and a main factor of our aerial game has been the effectiveness of our dependent veteran Amani Toomer. Also, to be able to depend on our rookies in the playoffs has more than paid off, especially with Kevin Boss and Steve Smith on the field.
The defense has definitely made a statement to the NFL. It does not matter how many pro-bowlers you have on your squad when it comes to the playoffs. Alongside Antonio Pierce, the Giants have been looking powerful on many games. Even with Sam Madison hurt, we have done the right thing rotating our players. We have stepped up not completely, but enough to send the opponents home (crying in T.O.s case).
Finally, we’re on the road again. I have not seen a team so comfortable in winning on the road than the Giants. We love pressure and the underdog spirit has woken up the beast from the east. The Green Bay Packers are our next victims and we’re not sleeping on this game. Like I said before, this is the playoffs…We don’t care who you are, we want this trophy and Green Bay is getting in the way.
