Saturday’s Giants News
The Pro Bowl is tomorrow and Osi is still sick, but he’s feeling good enough to play in it. I’m not a fan of the Pro Bowl because I believe the selection process stinks, the game is held after the season, and it is meaningless. I’ve been trying to think of ways to improve upon the game, but I haven’t had much success. The NFL can change the schedule and give everybody a bye week in Week 9 and have the Pro Bowl then. That would make the game more interesting because it’s in the middle of the season just like the other 3 major sports, but it would still serve no purpose. I complained about the MLB All-Star game not serving a purpose so they changed it so the winner is the league that gets home-field advantage in the World Series. That decision made the All-Star game and the World Series so much worse. So it’s hard to make the Pro Bowl mean anything, yet not screw up other things. But what do I know?
