George Martin is one of the classiest people to ever put on a Giants uniform. He is walking across the country to raise money for those who suffered in the 9/11 attacks. Martin began walking in September 2007, and was about halfway across the country during the Super Bowl. We already know that Martin has been doing this, but I would like to say I’m proud of my boys in blue for donating to ”a Journey for 9/11“. Sam Madison Q&A - Michael Eisen had a Q&A Session with Sam Madison about the Super Bowl run.
Giants donate to the Journey - Michael Eisen noted that Giants’ players donated $40,000 to George Martin’s “a Journey for 9/11“.
New York Daily News:
NFL defenses will be armed with radio helmets starting next season - Ralph Vacchiano and Gary Meyers wrote that, “The Giants and Jets were among teams voting Tuesday to approve radio helmets for the defensive signal caller to receive the plays from the sideline, bringing it equality with the coach-to-quarterback system used since 1994 and eliminating any chance of SpyGate II.”
Jerry Reese expects to see Michael Strahan in Giants’ camp - According to Gary Meyers, Jerry Reese stated this about Michael Strahan’s retirement situation, “We haven’t had any conversation right now. We’ll sit down and he’ll let me know if he wants to play or not. My gut feeling is I think he will play another year. That’s just my gut feeling. That may be out in left field somewhere.”
