Monday’s Giants News: ‘Skins Signed Jerome Mathis
The Redskins finally picked up a player in Free Agency this offseason, according to NFL.com. On Friday, the Redskins added Jerome Mathis who is a receiver and former Pro Bowl kick returner. Mathis played for the Texans, but hasn’t much the past two seasons do to injuries. Jerome recently had two run-ins with the law. The AP reported this about Mathis, ”In December, he received a misdemeanor citation after his pit bull chewed through a fence and was behaving aggressively. In February, he was charged with assaulting his pregnant common-law wife, a charge that was later dropped at the woman’s request.”
