Sunday’s Giants News: Will Allen Under Investigation
![]()
According to Trenton Daniel of The Miami Herald, former Giants CB and current Dolphins CB Will Allen had a disagreement over money with an unidentified person on Friday afternoon in a parking lot at Bed Bath & Beyond down in Miami. Both men were brought into the Davie Police station Friday evening for questioning. Later on in the day, Craig Barnes of the Sun-Sentinel pointed out that,
A report on WPLG-Channel 10 alleged that Allen borrowed money to pay gambling debts. When repayment was demanded, the person claimed Allen pulled a gun. Police would not confirm the report.
If charges are subsequently filed against Allen involving a gun and there is a plea agreement or a guilty verdict, the seven-year veteran could be subject to discipline under the NFL Conduct Policy.
Good thing Allen isn’t on Big Blue anymore. Who needs this crap in the offseason? Just play football. This story isn’t Adam Pacman Jones juicy, but it’s juicy enough because it involves gambling and guns. Bill Parcells must be bugging out down there because he doesn’t want any “thugs or hoodlums” on his team, and now he has to deal with all of this crap. If Allen is charged for something then let’s watch how fast The Tuna cans Allen.
Ann Mara to be Honored - Michael Eisen pointed out that “Ann Mara, the first lady of New York Giants, will receive an honorary doctorate of humane letters at Saturday’s commencement ceremonies at Fordham University.”
