Friday’s Giants News: NJ Giants
Polititians in New Jersey want to take credit for what the New York Football Giants accomplished. How messed up is that? It’s just not right. They have the their own things to worry about like the Devils, the Nets, Great Adventure, AC, and the shore.
Giants Honored - Michael Eisen informed us that the state of NJ honored the Giants for their Super Bowl XLII win.
Coughlin visited the state capital on Thursday at the invitation of Richard J. Codey, the President of the Senate and former acting governor, and Paul Sarlo, the senator whose district includes Giants Stadium. Both men are fervent Giants fans. Coughlin received a copy of a Senate resolution, introduced by Sarlo which honored and saluted the Giants for their Super Bowl XLII victory over the New England Patriots.
New York Daily News:
Senators fete the New Jersey Giants -Senator Paul Sarlo, D-Bergen was quoted as saying, ”Whether you’re a football fan or not, I’m sure you found yourself caught up in the hype this past winter with the success of the New Jersey Giants. I emphasize the New Jersey Giants.” New Jersey Giants, that just sounds bad.
