Ahmad Bradshaw Finally Speaks About Jail Time
Yesterday in Albany, Ahmad Bradshaw finally spoke to the New York Post about why he was in jail for 28 days. Bradshaw said…
I’ve done nothing wrong since I was drafted by the Giants. There is no question about that; it should be over with . . . all of this comes from the juvenile offense. It’s just life, man. You’ve just got to grow from your mistakes. That’s what I did and that’s how I look at it. I was there for a reason and now I just have to learn from it.
Since the judge won’t even disclose the reason why Ahmad ended up in jail, I guess we’ll just have to accept his word. This is one of the strangest things I have ever seen because nobody will comment on it. A man went to jail and nobody is allowed to know why. Even the judge won’t disclose any information. Sometimes these cases seem like the professional sports leagues and teams have judges on their payroll. Why do professional athletes get to revolve a trial and jail time around a sports schedule? In this case, Bradshaw really didn’t do anything. He was arrested for underage drinking and stealing a PlayStation. Why did the Kobe Bryant trial magically disappear? Either Kobe, the Lakers, or the NBA paid the girl cash under the table or something. Rape is much worse than drinking underage or stealing a video game console. At the end of the day, who knows what the truth is.
